1. The Service
Curvit is an AI-powered CV builder that helps you create professional CVs and online profile pages. We provide both free and paid (Pro) tiers with different features.
2. Account Registration
To use certain features, you must create an account using a valid email address. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for all activities under your account.
You must provide accurate information when creating your account. We reserve the right to suspend accounts that violate these Terms.
3. User Content
You retain ownership of the content you upload to Curvit, including your CV data, photos, and any other materials. By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to store, process, and display your content as necessary to provide the Service.
You agree not to upload content that:
- Is false, misleading, or fraudulent
- Infringes on intellectual property rights
- Is defamatory, harassing, or threatening
- Violates any applicable law
- Contains malware or harmful code
4. AI-Generated Content
Our AI features (CV parsing, rewriting, tailoring, cover letter generation, headshot generation) create content based on your input. You are responsible for reviewing and verifying AI-generated content before using it. We do not guarantee the accuracy, appropriateness, or quality of AI-generated content.
5. Public Profiles
Your Curvit profile page (e.g., curvit.com/@username) is publicly accessible unless you choose to hide it. You are responsible for the information you make publicly available.
6. Free and Pro Tiers
Free Tier
- Limited to one CV per account
- Includes Curvit branding on your profile
- Basic features as described on our website
Pro Tier
- Monthly ($5/month) or annual ($30/year) subscription
- Unlimited CVs, AI features, analytics, and custom domains
- Features may change; we will notify subscribers of significant changes
7. Payments and Refunds
Pro subscriptions are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis. Payments are processed securely by Stripe.
You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. We do not provide refunds for partial subscription periods.
For one-time purchases (such as headshot credits), refunds may be provided at our discretion if the service was not delivered as described.
8. Intellectual Property
The Curvit service, including its design, code, and branding, is owned by Curvit and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the Service without permission.
9. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service
- Scrape or collect data from the Service without permission
- Create fake or misleading profiles
- Impersonate others
10. Service Availability
We strive to provide reliable service but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features with reasonable notice. We are not liable for any downtime or service interruptions.
11. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will meet your requirements, be error-free, or achieve any particular result.
We do not guarantee that your CV or profile will result in job offers, interviews, or any specific outcome.
12. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Curvit shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service.
Our total liability for any claims related to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
13. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Curvit from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.
14. Termination
You may close your account at any time through your account settings. We may terminate or suspend your account for violations of these Terms or for any other reason with reasonable notice.
Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases. We may delete your data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
15. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via email or through the Service. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
16. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Kingdom. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of the United Kingdom.
